Arenal Volcano
Active since 1968, the volcano puts on a spectacular show at night if it isn't obscured by the clouds.
At dusk you can begin to see the lava rushing down the mountain.

Here the hot water from a volcanic spring cascades through beautiful gardens. Find a shady pool in a quiet spot or sit beneath a waterfall in this idyllic tropical paradise. You can also pamper yourself with a massage or facial if you like.
